so today I got my new WD 2 TB Caviar green SATA drive; feel like running home to install it. It always gives me the tingles when I get to open something. just crossing my fngers it works and its not fried. Then comes the hard part, but even more fun: a fresh installation is due... :-) then to partition my drives again am beside myself! :-)
Installing a laptop hard drive is usually a simple procedure depending on the configuration of your computer. Whether you have a bad hard drive, or you simply need more storage space, learning to do laptop upgrades will save you a lot of time and money. Also, always remember that hard drives are very sensitive to cold, heat, and jarring. Never hit, bump, or drop a laptop hard drive. :)
